- Hello! Thanks for checking out this site. Let me introduce myself. I am an author and living history professional who researched why people get tattooed. I have talked with over 300 people who have tattoos and selected 80 to share their stories. It was a very fascinating project. On January 3, 2007 the text was sent to be printed with E-Book Time Publishing Company and became available in February of 2007.
